Doug from Video Innovations filmed my wedding day. He provided an excellent friendly and professional service. I couldn't have asked for a better videographer to capture my day. My dad unfortunately was hospitalised a few days before the wedding and not able to make my special day, but to have Doug capture everything on film for him to watch after his recovery was very special for my dad and myself. Everything was perfect. The outcome was Excellent, I would definately recommend his services to everyone I know.

While I havtn been a Customer of Video Innovations as yet, My good Friends Paul and Joanne Hutchinson Recently tied the knot and Doug was there as their wedding videographer. I later Watched the Video of Paull And Joannes wedding with my fiancee and we Loved how Professionally it was done. It was great seeing how the day was all about them and how beautifully presented the video was. We were so impressed that once we have our wedding venue and Church locked down, we will be asking Mr Doug Wiggins to work with us for our very special day and really hope he will be apart of our day on August the 4th 2012!!

Hi Doug & Wendy, The comments I get from people who have looked at the video are that it is very informative and well made. It puts the park in perspective for those who have not visited the Caravan Park before. Testimonial below: Doug Wiggins and his team at Video Innovations had the ability to produce a professional quality web advert for our web site. His quality equipment and expertise has brought great results for us. Jervis Bay Caravan Park can highly recommend his services. Hi Doug- I just wanted to say a very big "thank you" for your wonderful contribution to our wedding day. Although I haven't seen the results yet, your professionalism and friendly approachable manner has made it absolutely lovely to deal with you prior to the wedding and on the day. I hardly noticed you on the day (although I remember you enjoying the cake-pretty good, wasn't it?!) I can't wait to see the results in a few weeks time and look forward to meeting up with you again. Thank you so much again from both of us, and I will definitely be recommending your services on the bridal forum. With best regards Joanne (& Paul) Hutchison

Hawkesbury City Council 15 September 2010 Mr Doug Wiggins, Video lnnovations PO Box 3085 FREEMANS REACH NSW 2756 Dear Mr Wiggins, On behalf of Council, I write to thank you for your support and assistance in publicising the need for the new bridge over the Hawkesbury River in Windsor. As you know the replacement of the existing bridge has been discussed at Council on many occasions and Council, as well as the local cornmunity are concerned about the delays that have occurred as we anxiously await an announcement from the State Government on rhe final proposal. Your involvement in co-odinating media and filming of intervlews has assisted Council in raising the community's concerns about the importance of a new bridge to the State Government Thank you once again for your assistance and commitment. Matthew & Dianne Toro ,
Dear Doug, We would like to thank you for your work in documenting our wedding day on the 17th of April 2010. In the lead up to the day, you were very thorough in ensuring you had all the information you needed to make our DVD exactly the way we imagined it. We were impressed by your easy going nature and your flexibility. On the day, we found you to be punctual and professional, dedicated to capturing all of the special moments of our day, big and small. We found you very respectful and friendly to everyone you dealt with, and you did a great job of keeping us smiling right until the end of the reception. We were pleasantly surprised with how quickly the finished product was completed. It could not be faulted and was drawing tears from the very first scenes. We will be happily watching it for many years to come and have no reservations in recommending your services. Matthew and Dianne Toro.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will the cameraman be the same person we met?

Yes, absolutely. You have been comunicating with Doug Wiggins and it will be Doug at your meeting and on the day. It is also Doug who edits your wedding film.

Can we choose our own music?

Yes. And that is very important. Your special choices have meaning for you both and we use any music you choose under our APRA/AMCOS licence.

What sort of special effects do you use?

As few as possible. None if possible. WIth the exception of some occasional, tasteful use of slow motion, we believe that the 1,000's of special effects we have available, are best left in the box they came in. Special effects are the fastest way to ruin a well produced film. We know we have done well when people can't tell that we have applied some subtle effects. All the others can be very tacky.

Can we see some samples of your work?

Absolutely. We encourage people to visit our studio to meet and to view our work. If you are unable to visit, just request a free sample DVD.

How many copies do we get?

In the majority of our packages, you receive 3 full length DVD's and 1 copy of a highlights DVD. If you would prefer your wedding film in HD, simply let us know prior to the wedding. We supply your HD wedding film on USB Stick ready for TV or computer viewing. There is a slight price adjustment for HD.

How many hours do you stay?

This will be arranged during our pre wedding meetings. In most of our packages, we will start filming during the Bride's preparations and continue through the day's formalities until you have cut the cake and had your first dance. Usually between 6 and 9 hours depending on your requirements and budget. We are quite flexible.

How long does it take to get our wedding film back?

Doug will be editing while you're away on your honeymoon and like to have your film ready for a screening with you within 3 - 4 weeks.

How do you capture sound during our ceremony?

We fit the groom with a discrete radio microphone which will only be used for the ceremony and captures your vows clearly.

How many camera's do you have on the day?

Most of my weddings are single camera, but I do bring a spare just in case. We keep up to date with new camera's and we keep them in top condition to minimise risk. Our new Sony HD camera records a backup while recording our main video.

How much experience do you have?

I have been producing weddings, corporate video and shooting news for TV for over 7 years. The mix of different work styles see's me well prepared for most challenges.
